Meet the Young Women We Support
Over 80 girls have benefited from the Educare Fund since 1997. Each one is bright, motivated, and determined to build a future — they just need the chance.
Bright, Motivated, Determined
The girls supported by the Educare Fund are selected based on academic promise and financial need. They come from families who cannot afford school fees but who value education and want their daughters to succeed.
Monica Harris works closely with schools and communities in Lesotho to identify girls who would benefit most from support. Once selected, the fund pays their fees directly to their schools, and Monica maintains regular contact with each girl throughout her studies.
Many of the girls supported by the fund go on to further education or employment, becoming role models in their communities and often supporting younger siblings and family members in turn.
